All steam ahead with The Blackstones

The brand new album from The Blackstones has just landed, and in the mix, along with the legends themselves, we have Alien Dread (backed by Alvin Davis, Asha B and Steven Wright).

This is an 18 track musical adventure through Roots and Rocksteady sounds; featuring some classic vocal re-working(s) of Jamaican originals with smoking hot Horn versions complementing the mixes.

Featured on sound systems across the UK and recently aired on BBC1 Extra on the Rodigan show, Selection Train is the culmination of nearly a years studio work in 2023 and then the final production work ended in 2024 when the album dropped.

All thanks to Leon and the other members of Blackstones. Solid traditional Jamaican sounds with a contemporary treatment at AD Studio (UK).
